Tasting Italy: Fresh Pasta, Pizza, and Coffee

Tasting Italy: Fresh Pasta, Pizza, and Coffee

A slice of italian culinary skills. Featuring pizza chef JoJo from Rome, and the wonderful sfoglina (pasta expert) Luisa from Bologna.
Please watch in HD!
"Have you ever eaten Italian food?
Do you like Pasta?
The Italians love to eat.
But not as we know it.
There's no such thing as a Deep Pan Pizza in Italy.
Cappuccino is only for breakfast.
You can order Pasta alla Genovese,
or Gnocchi alla Sorrentina,
But there is no such thing,
as Spaghetti Bolognese.
In Bologna what they really eat
is Tagliatelle alla Ragu.
Napoli is the undisputed Champion of pizza.
The coffee is great... everywhere.
So, have you ever eaten real Italian food?"

Many thanks to the wonderful folk at #BlogVille and Emilia Romagna Tourism www.blogville-emiliaromagna.com and the top notch food tour from Walks of Italy in Rome www.walksofitaly.com/...
Travel video shared by Peter Parkorr
A short film made for the www.doubletree.com/Dtour travel video competition. Filmed at various points in the month of May and edited in the last two days before the competition entry deadline. Low quality voice-over recording just a factor of limited time!

Music: 'The Tea Party' by Dexter Britain, Creative Commons Vol.2

Filmed on the Panasonic Lumix GH2 and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro.
