We rented kayaks and begin paddling.
In minutes we passed a public park with beautiful traditional houses. The reef was colorful and the water pristine. A small beach attracted us but there was a group of kayakers already there.

At the small beach we crossed betwen two breaking reefs. Before us, the walls of the ancient volcanic caldera described the deep and long inner and outer harbor.
With the wind and waves behind us we headed back to Sadie's Hotel. A couple of beers later all was good.
