When summer vacation rolls around, you ought to have planned out your entire vacation before it’s too late. However, having had so many summer vacations already you might want to try something out of the ordinary or something that you've never done.
For this you need to get your notebook out and list out everything you possibly can! We’re talking almost three months of blissful weather, free time and lots of energy on your hands. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with your old friends, family and even other loved ones.
Three Tips to Planning Your Summer Vacation
1. Doing What You Love
These are the most obvious things you will want to do, everything that you love. This is the ideal way to spend your summer vacation if you are a laid back person that has no intention of going too much out of your zone or you weren’t planning on going all out this year. Settling to do what you love is the easiest and most comfortable choice you have. Make a list of everything that you love, and start with the list once your vacation starts. Hopefully by the end of the holidays you’ll have managed to complete more than half or even all of your activities.
2. Doing What You Fear
After doing what you love and enjoy, it’s time to do things that you fear. This doesn’t necessarily mean testing your phobias as this isn’t advisable at all, but just going through the activities that you can do that will help you get rid of certain fears. You might even discover that the fear was all in your head! Rock climbing and bungee jumping are two examples, but there are several others. All you need to do is look up on the internet for a few ideas and work towards achieving this. Doing something completely out of your comfort zone is the best way to discover who you truly are!
3. Doing What You Never Imagined
It’s quite obvious that you would do things that you love and are used to and would attempt to do things you love, but for a change it’s time to test your absolute limits and do things you would have never imagined!
When traveling to a new country, you'll probably find more suggestions on activities to do that you've never heard of. You may want to stick to your comfort zone, but testing your boundaries every once in a while is a great idea. You may eventually even like what you do!
These are a few ways to go about planning the perfect summer vacation. If you are not the type to stick to plans, then you can be as adventurous as you want to and plan as you go! But having a small mind plan is what will get you through the days.
Have a fun filled summer vacation!
