Planning a Holiday With Kids? These are the Top Must-See Attractions in Great Britain

Do your kids love traveling and visiting new attractions from time to time? Then why not take them to the United Kingdom and let them explore!

From enchanting castles to roller coaster riders, the UK has everything to thrill their little hearts. So if you too are planning a visit to the UK with your kids, here are some sights and experiences to tick off your list.

Top Must-See Family Travel Attractions in Great Britain:

Natural History Museum

This is one of the best museums in the UK and has a diplodocus skeleton welcoming you as you enter. The grand structure of the building and amazing exhibit collection ranging from dinosaur eggs to meteors makes the place just magical for kids. Moreover, there's an upcoming display of a blue whale skeleton in summer 2017, which will make a visit even more exciting.

This attraction is spread across 50 acres of land and feels nothing like a theme park. You won't find the typical food joints or rides or any special effects.  The only things you'll find are rope bridges, treehouses, dens and climbing trees.  Some seasonal events and craft activities are also scheduled from time to time and are really a lot of fun.

Alton Towers

If you're looking for a thrilling experience for your kids, Alton Towers offers an incredible collection of rides. It comes with a virtual reality ride that makes you feel as though you are a part of a voyage to space. The resort at Alton Towers has a newly-opened restaurant. The resort is a great place to stay if you're planning a full weekend break as you can visit the nearby waterpark the next day.  There are also a number of other hotels in the area just outside of the park.

Legoland was made using around 80 million real lego pieces.  There's a new Darth Vader Death Star model in the works that will take another 500,000 bricks!  This park puts on a number of live entertainment shows and also has imaginative rides, making it the perfect excursion for those with children.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London

If your children are Harry Potter fans then there's no way you can NOT take them to this place!  Warner Bros in London offers you the chance to take your children to real-life film studies to give them a behind-the-scenes look at how movies are made.  You can also visit stages with original sets, props, and animatronic creatures.  It truly is amazing and it will also provide you with some great photo ops to show off to your friends.

Warwick Castle

Warwick Castle is a great place to take little ones.  Guided tours, daily events, jousting matches, and the firing of a trebuchet come with the entrance fee.  All of these aspects truly make the place come to life in the eyes of a child.  If you plan to stay overnight in the area, accommodation is available at the Knight's Village.

Museum of Science and Industry

This museum inspires interest in children and introduces them to the world of science and technology.  You'll find displays that are related to textiles, transport, communication, power and computing.  Apart from the displays, kids can participate in their own experiments and see the live results of their work.  Steam train rides are available and entry is absolutely FREE.

Despite popular opinion, holidays and vacations with children don't have to be expensive.  The most important tip for travel with children is that you travel slowly and leave enough time for flexibility.
