Planning a trip to Madrid?
Don't miss out on this little gem.... Metro Bistro.
Located not far from Parque Templo de Debod, it is in a small side street off Paseo del Pintor Rosales, also neighborhood of Pablo Almodovar, whom we actually came across on the Paseo.
With about 8-10 tables, Metro Bistro sits about 30 guests and has a nice bar area.
The Menu…. To me it is a fusion of national and international ingredients, creative combinations that show the talent of a Chef who loves what he does…. look at the images for some impressions of his cuisine art.
I visited three times during one and the same Madrid stay, and had the menu up and down twice, everything is just a specialty for itself.
I think what I loved most was the interesting combination of the food & ingredients, the elegant-casual atmosphere, and most of all the presentation of each dish and personal attention of Matias Smith & Lida Trevisan, the owners, originally from Argentina.
Matias is an excellent Chef while Lida takes fabulous care of the guests.
So, whenever you get to Madrid, this is a MUST!
