The beautiful terrace that had been part of city’s fortifications had lost it's strategic significance and was rebuilt into the gardens by Heinrich von Brühl whose name it carries until the present day. It features majestic views of Elbe river and used to be called "The Balcony of Europe".
There are several historical buildings located along the terrace, among all Albertinum, Academy of Fine Arts (Kunstakademie), and Saxony’s Supreme Court (Sächsisches Ständehaus).
Come and see this place after sunset, it has romantic atmosphere.
