When you go to Victoria Falls, please keep one evening open for a meal at The Boma!
I have never enjoyed a meal from start to finish like I did here, from the moment you arrive to the welcome of a drum beat, loaned a traditional robe and a bit of face paint it all adds to the African décor…
I won’t reveal everything as some little bits add to the charm of The Boma, but know the beverages and snacks welcome you; the friendly Zimbabwean people invite you to a meal you will remember for a very long time!
I highly recommend the starters and Pieter has never tasted good Warthog, except at The Boma – the food is excellent the vibe even better and the interaction with even guest participation is awesome!
Sitting in the garden adjacent to The Boma was peaceful. Gazing up at the stars and listening to the trickle of water in their outdoor swimming pool allowed us an inner moment after the very energetic evening filled with laughter, music, great hospitality and superb food!
We had fun and The Boma makes it to the top of places to go and have dinner at in Victoria Falls – it’s a meal worth every moment and dollar, which reminds me – although Rands, Euro, Pounds and Dollars are accepted in Zimbabwe – take Dollars – it works out cheaper that way.
