Returning to My Mauritius

Returning to My Mauritius

I'm tired and I even get more tired when I look at those numbers:
06:15 - 07:20
11:45 - 12:50
17:00 - 07:55+1

Those are my flight times. That means I have to get up at 2 am to drive to the airport. That's usually when I go to bed, but not wake up.

First flight leaves Cologne to London, but via Munich and only then it's going to the final destination.

I wonder why I'm doing this and the answer is so simple...

The final destination is no other than Mauritius!

The last time I've been to Mauritius was 3 years ago and when I've landed my taxi driver said: „Welcome to paradise“

I just thought along the lines like: „Yeah, sure... everyone can say that.“

Shortly afterwards we turned around a corner and I saw the first beach and from there on I believed my driver everything he said.

Now I'm returning and simply look forward to explore more from Mauritius!

It's not „just“ a luxury or wedding destination, but Mauritius got so much more to offer. The last time I've been skydiving, canoyeing, quad biking, horse riding on Mauritius... while enjoying some extremely good accommodations.

For this trip I've decided to go for some things I haven't done.

First of all I'm heading straight forward to Rodrigues Island, where I'll go for some kitesurfing and island exploration, while staying at the Cotton Bay Hotel.

Next stop is Mauritius again and the Shangri-la's Le Touessrok's Resort and Spa. Mauritius is known for crystal blue water, so I might head towards Blue Bay for some snorkeling.

Another accommodation I will stay at is the Angsana Balaclava Hotel.

There will be far more things to do and for sure some nice little surprises, but first I will make my way to London Heathrow to get my Air Mauritius flight. A really good thing about flying with Air Mauritius is, that as soon I sit in their carrier, I do not have to swap flights in the middle of the night elsewhere and it takes me straight into paradise.
