Throw open the curtains of your room to the sight of the sun rising over the Arabian Gulf, the waters of which bathe the 1.7km private beach belonging to the Hilton Kuwait resort.
The somewhat cumbersomely-named Kuwait House of National Memorial Museum is a memorial to the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait and the ensuing Gulf War.   The museum is probably not for the faint-hearted.  

As a child I dreamt of being a gypsy and travelling the world in a caravan.
