The Jewish New Year begins next week and there are so many events happening in Jerusalem to celebrate.
During the week of Sept 26 is the holiday of Sukkot when all local kids are on vacation.
There will be a children's theater festival at the Botanical Gardens, actors and workshops at Ein Yael (the living Museum of Jerusalem in the time of the Romans), Recycle art workshops at the Israel Museum, Tours and games at the Bank of Israel, an English scavenger hunt at the Museum of the Underground Prisoner, the Jerusalem March, and more.
It is a great time to visit the city but keep in mind its a time with lots of traffic and tourists.
