Boros Collection - Stunning - An Art Bunker in Berlin, Germany

If you plan a weekend in Berlin, you most definitely will have to visit the BOROS COLLECTION.

In this former World War bunker, Christian and Karen Boros show their private art collection - and even created their residence on top.

When you look at the concrete chunk, you will never guess what is expecting you inside.

Entering the building the excitement raises. You can feel the cold thick walls of the bunker and try not to think about what might have been going on there during world war years.

You pay your ticket and a nice lady offers you some water in the waiting room, while a giant bell graciously swings from side to side.

The tour starts and you have no time to adjust to your sudden enthusiasm. Believe me, you will stay speechless throughout the whole trip into a very special world of art. Not only the works themselves are stunning. They are mostly built into the bunker space itself to create a new experience of the rooms.

On 3.000 square meters you can find works of Olafur Eliasson, Michael Beutler, Kitty Kraus, Katja Strunz and many more.

You need to book your guided tour in advance, because the tickets might be sold out and tours are only offered Friday-Sunday.
