Walking towards Fox Glacier in New Zealand
The 45 minute round trip walk towards Fox Glacier from the main parking area is like a scene out of Lord of the Rings, even more so because the rain was really coming down and it was gloomy/foggy outside.
You'll see broken off glacier chunks float down the river alongside the path.
Definitely a must stop when traveling on State Highway 6 on the West Coast.
