A swan in the partially frozen waters of the Baltic Sea, Sopot, Poland.
Sopot, about twenty minutes from Gdansk, is a popular destination with Polish tourists, and swans congregate in the area during the chilly winter months and people from the surrounding areas come to feed them.
The swans of Sopot are remarkably tame and don't display any of the aggression usually associated with the birds.
This image was taken from Sopot's pier which, at 516 metres in length, is the longest wooden pier in Europe.
