Beach volleyball, softball, tennis, you name it there is a place to play it here. There is dog park, beer gardens, a nearby botanical gardens and more. Lot's of tracks to walk on, run, bike and roller blade and also to just relax and look at Downtown and MIdtown skylines.
Piedmont and New York City's Central Park share the same designer.
