Ice Slides at Harbin Ice Festival - Well worth a visit!

The Harbin Ice Festival is held every year in Harbin, Northern China in January. 

There are actually three events
-  a small Disney sponsored Ice Park,
- a Snow Festival with snow sculptures,
- and the most famous and breathtaking Ice Festival just outside town. 

This place is truly amazing - everything is built from blocks of ice hand chopped out of the nearby SongHua River, and lit from within the ice with literally millions of multicoloured LED lights. 

Well worth a visit!
