Grand Place in Brussels, Belgium - Not Ordinary

Something about the name tipped me into thinking that this square wasn't anything ordinary.

And indeed, it's not. The incredibly ornate facades date back from hundreds of years, and some adorn gold, silver or bronze details that make them even more pretty. 

I particularly loved this corner with the terraces, and I could definitely picture myself sipping a cappucino while indulging in some good Belgian peoplewatching. 

And that's exactly what I did.
