The Gothic and Popular Cathedral of Orleans in France

On our way to La Rochelle we've stopped in Orleans.

The cathedral is probably most famous for its association with Joan of Arc, "The Maid of Orléans". A peasant girl born in eastern France who claimed divine guidance, she led the French army to several important victories during the Hundred Years' War.
