The Dune of Wadi Rum - Tough, But Worth It!
Why did I chose as a title "The Dune of Wadi Rum"?
That is easy... It was the only really tall dune I've seen that day & I've climbed it to the top. I wasn't that smart doing it, as I went straight up instead via the gentle slope.
The dune was about 70 metres high and it took me a whole hour to reach the top and when I got there, I was so exhausted!
On the way up, I had to take 5 minute breaks every couple of steps. Each step got me a few centimetres closer, but as it was loose sand, I also slided down a few centimetres again.
It was tough, but worth it!
