The Dassenech Tribe, Ethiopia

With the most UNESCO World Heritages Sites in Africa, Ethiopia is one of the most fascinating destinations when it comes for history, culture, nature and adventure!

The Dassenech tribe lives in the most southern part of the Omo Valley and cattle are central to the lives. Men and women are circumcised. A Daasenech man blesses his daughter's fertility and future marriage by celebrating the Dimi.  During the Dimi 10 to 20 cattle are slaughtered.
