Calvi Beach - A Glorious Sandy Bay

Calvi beach is a glorious sandy bay with a backdrop of  pine trees and mountains.

The water is crystal clear and very shallow for quite a way out so perfect for famillies.

Be warned though, the restaurants are expensive and even if you have paid for a meal, you will be still be expected to pay for the use of their sunloungers - about 10 euros for half a day (summer 2011).
