$2 or $1 for a bike. The best way to look around the town.
Everywhere is mostly flat, so even if you are a beginner, you can do! :) I did. hehe

Biking Angkor Wat

I was just in Siem Reap last week and highly recommend "splurging" $5/day on the new Giant, 24-speed, lightweight mountain bikes. I rented three days and did all the temples in...

the short and "grand" tour routes. There were times when I was passing tuk-tuks, trucks, buses, and all of the $1 bikes as I cruised along getting back the 7-8 km from the temples to Siem Reap. At Angkor Wat/Angkor Thom, etc., I took my time from site to site. Much better than an AC bus tour, or even riding on the back of a scooter (which I did 10 years ago). I suspect on the multiday rental I might have gotten a better deal (maybe $4/day?), but I didn't even try.
