Roque Nublo Rock stands right in the center of Gran Canaria and you can see it from across the highlands. It's easy to get to if you rent a car. Just drive up any of the southern valleys (Arguineguin, Fataga or Mogan), and follow the signs.
Las Canteras beach’s specs speak for themselves; 3.5 km of golden sand sheltered behind a lava reef in the city with the most pleasant climate in the world (according to Syracuse University).
This picture was taken during a walk around El Teide, a volcano and the highest mountain in Spain. Behind the clouds you can see the mountains of the nearest island of La Palma in The Canary Islands. Nobody should lleave Tenerife without being up there!
The village of Pozo Negro got a nice black beach.
