Taipei was an interesting experience. It’s definitely not a common choice for Western tourists and you don’t see many around.
Thousands of tiny islands adorn the Pacific, and these remnants of volcanic eruptions have evolved into tourist hot spots, with prime diving and scenic beaches.
One of the best things about Taipei are the numerous street food choices, available at all hours of the night. My favorite: the fresh fruit stands. What a great idea for late night snacking!
