When you're traveling, it's always nice to try the local cuisines of the destination.  Local food is often much different from what you're used to at home, and can be a pleasant surpise from what you're used to.
So, you're traveling to Indonesia? Lucky you! There is so much to see and do here! You're probably a little overwhelmed about where to even begin.
I've always had a weak spot for monkeys and yes the monkey forest in Ubud, Bali is very touristic. That doesn't mean it is not a must see. Or at least it is if you're a monkey lover like I am! ;)
Whilst it may not be the best beach ever. Seminyak Beach is a cool spot to enjoy a relaxed beach vay-cay.
