The cultural forest at Makasutu is one the highlights of any trip to The Gambia. Set in the mangrove tributaries of the country's mighty river, it is a place sacred to the local people.

The Gambia, is the smallest country on mainland Africa and also one of the poorest but it is known as the smiling coast of Africa.
